Meet our owner
Luke Bowers started Castle906Market in 2025 after realizing two things: the U.P. needed a solid, reliable produce stand… and spreadsheets just don’t taste very good. After spending most of his career in Information Technology, Luke traded in debugging systems for picking out the freshest fruits and veggies he could find.
His mission is simple—make fresh produce accessible across the U.P. by bringing in as much local goodness as possible from nearby farms, while teaming up with trusted vendors to keep the stands stocked and thriving. What started as a business idea quickly grew into something more: a way to build something his family could be part of, take pride in, and maybe argue over who forgot to water the plants.
Luke’s goal is to keep the produce coming, keep things affordable, and keep growing right alongside the community—one “turnip the freshness” moment at a time
